The reviews here are the opinions of Marker Buoy Dive Club
members who reviewed the site. There has been no qualification
of dives as to their difficulty. This has been on purpose and
not an oversite. Any dive can be advanced if dove during the
wrong conditions. What the reviewers have done is to state
hazards they know exist. As always, you should only use the
reviews as a guideline. The best way is to make your own
assessment of the site. Better yet, always try to dive a new
site with someone who has dove site before. For currents,
weather, conditions, and ferry, the 'Plan a Dive Help' pages
have convenient links. Keep in mind that even though there are
links to current predicators, local sites currents may be
vastly different. This can be due to physical characteristics
of the site.
Recommended book: Northwest Shore Dives by Stephen
Fischnaller. He has spent a lot of time and effort to assess currents at the local sites. His predications have proven to be very accurate. |
