Harper's Abandoned Ferry Dock

Harper's Abandoned Ferry Dock
Location:
North of Southworth Ferry Dock
Take the Vashon Ferry to Southworth. Go staight west from the ferry to the first stop. Turn right (north) and proceed 2 miles to the abandoned ferry.
Limited parking here; 6-8 vehicles.
Description:

An easy dive and fairly shallow dive, long sloping silt/gravel bottom. Suitable for all levels. Advanced neighbor, see hazard below.
Small abandoned ferry pier with a fairly good sized wreck to the west- southwest. There is a location line from the outside ferry bumpers to the wreck.
Update: There are 2 wrecks and 2 lines. A bright yellow poly line goes to a small wooden boat nearby. An older manila line goes to the larger wreck a bit farther away at about 25-30 feet of depth
Lots of anemones on the pilings..
There is a sanican at the dock but the ferry is a nicer facility.

Tide Correction (estimated); minus 2:30"- slack before flood (Bush Point),
Minus :30" slack before ebb (Bush Point)
This is for the channel outside the harbor between the dive site and Blakely Rock. It does not appear to be a current sensitive spot at all.

Endolyne Joe's just up from the Fauntleroy ferry is a nice spot to eat after the dive.

Reviews:
Special Hazards:

The proprieter of the coffee shop right at the dive site is VERY HOSTILE and subject to using verbal abuse. Do NOT block the west side of the drive and access-way, even to unload. Try to keep vehicles down to less than 10. The place is up for sale so if ownership changes it would be good to establish a better relationship.

Fishing line around the dock. Small boats.
