The speaker will be our own Greg Wilson who will show a short local video and talk about using a scooter at our local dive sites, a little history, dive planning, and diving emergency protocols.

Marker Buoy Dive Club provides many opportunities to meet other divers from throughout the Greater Seattle area who like to share diving experiences and information. Club membership represents divers of all ages, diving interests and experience levels.

Club meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month 7-9pm at the Sunset Hill Community Center, 3003 NW 66th, Seattle.

August 4th

Expedition to Oman

For August's meeting, join members Yara Silva, Dan Clements, and their friends Mara Silva and Jay Sprenger as they dive the Straits of Hormutz in Oman at the entrance to the Persian Gulf.

They participated in a marine survey of this extremely remote and rarely dived area. The last survey of this beautiful locale was in 1962, and the current effort may result in its designation as a United Nations World Heritage site.

The expedition was organized by the UK based firm Biosphere.
